Since 2006 „The Fictionplay“ have played numerous live shows, for instance with „Cold War Kids“ and „Dennis Lyzén“, and released four albums – inlcluding their newest release „Tohu Bohu“ (21.09.2018). With nine catchy songs the quartet from Lower Austria has proven their progressive understanding for Rock once again.
For „Tohu Bohu“ they co-operated with producer David Furrer (among others „Mother’s Cake“ and „Gospel Dating Service“) and Panta R&E for the first time.
On their new album, the Alternative band deals with the – in their believes - chaotic developments in society and find themselves with intense Blues-guitarriffs and fresh synthesizer-sounds in the footsteps of Rival Sons and Muse, presenting a mixture of Modern Rock and Progressive Pop-ballades.
