‚She and the Junkies', founded in 2011, represent rock and indie music. The band was already able to acquire a great fanbase in Austria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK due to their diverse touring activities (60 concerts in 2014). Their lyrics combined with rhythms rich in variety, rocking fills as well as an extravagant live performance take their audience on a trip to the wild and promiscuous time of a youth, defined by topics such as party, hopelessness, madness, sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.
Recently, She and the Junkies were nominated for the award 'Best Austrian Band' by GoTV in 2014.
On April 17, the band performed live at an exclusive showcase followed by their release party at Chaya Fuera, Vienna. Right after the release of their debut album 'She and the Junkies' on June 5, 2015, they will tour around the UK.
