Bio
The Viennese trio Lausch mixes Post Rock, classical 90ies Rock and Progressive Rock in an absolutely unique way. The result is a powerful alternative sound which, due to its variety, reminds listeners of the melodic instrumental works of "Long Distance Calling" as well as of the guitar-driven Rock sound of "Biffy Clyro". Since 2005, Lausch have produced four studio albums. The latest one, "Glass Bones" unites energy, hardness and emotions. The band convinces with chiseled and, at the same time, catchy songwriting. Beside meaningful lyrics and the expressive voice of Alexander Lausch, which gets under your skin, dynamic live shows constitute the qualities of Lausch. "[...] it feels as if they are taking you on a wave ride in stormy seas, which is not of the mellow kind but adventurous and energetic, and during which every wave is a highlight." (Eva Triebl, music-news.at).

Band members:
Alexander Lausch (Vocals, Guitar), Arnold Zanon (Bass), Matthias Ledwinka (Drums)

Review
"Alex Lausch is quite a stubborn man when it comes down to his vision of progressive Rock music. This stoic consistency definitely pays off. After a continuous string of excellent records, "Glass Bones" is the band's best to date - and the catchiest one." (Markus Brandstetter, laut.de)
"This trio [...] combines an inclination to complexity and technical finesse with a sense for straightforwardness and catchiness." (dog, derstandard.com)
"'Glass Bones' is complex, completely crazy, spaced out and still – or exactly because of all this – so good." (Walter Kraus, Beatblogger.de)
